The Egyptian Tagammu’ (Gathering ) Party expresses its solidarity with Syria and calls for lifting the unjust blockade imposed on it

On February 9th, the Egyptian National Progressive Unionist Tagammu’ (Gathering) Party expressed its solidarity with Syria and its support for it after it was hit by the devastating earthquake.

The party said in statements: “We stand in solidarity with brotherly Syria in the face of the unjust American-Western blockade imposed on it and the devastating earthquake that struck it.”

The party appealed to the Arab brothers, countries, peoples and communities all over the world to support the afflicted families and to express their actual solidarity with their Syrian brothers afflicted by the natural disaster.

The party called on all honorable and free people in the world to express their human solidarity with the Syrian people and drop the policies of collective punishment that the United States of America is legitimating and working on.

The party urged for an end to all unjust sanctions against Syria and lifting the unjust siege imposed on it.
