MOSCOW, May. 25, (ST)- The dollar fell below 56 rubles on the Moscow Exchange for the first time since February 2018, while the euro exchange rate fell below 58 rubles for the first time since June 2015 on Wednesday.
As of 10:15 Moscow time, the dollar rate slowed down to 56.13 rubles (-1.18%). At the same time, the euro exchange rate fell to 58.26 rubles (-0.71%).
By 10:30 Moscow time, the dollar slowed down decline to 56.21 rubles (-1.04%). At the same time, the euro rate fell to 58.44 rubles (-0.4%)
Meanwhile, the MOEX index increased by 1.21% to 2,321.38 points, the RTS index – by 2.16% to 1,301.3 points.
