The Daily Telegraph: Britain will lose more than six billion pounds due to sanctions against Russia

London (ST): The Daily Telegraph reported that the British economy will lose about 6.2 billion pounds ($7.96 billion) due to Western sanctions imposed on Russia.

The newspaper said that according to an official analysis of trade measures released earlier this month, the restrictions imposed on Russia will lead to billions of dollars in losses to the British economy over the next nine years, despite the small volume of trade exchange between London and Moscow.
The United Kingdom imposed a ban on the import of silver and wood and high-quality products from Russia, as well as the import of iron and steel and the export of luxury goods to Russia, and stopped any new support to finance exports to Russia and Belarus.
