The Council of Arab Economic Unity decides to hold its next session in Syria

The Council of Arab Economic Unity decided unanimously to hold its next 58th session in Syria, in response to the request of the President of the Arab Union for Productive Families and Craft and Traditional Industries, Muhammad Abdel Basset Al-Qadah. 

The Arab Union of Productive Families said in a statement that during the work of the 57th session of the Unity Council held today in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with the participation of the Union, and in the presence of the heads and representatives of the specialized qualitative Arab federations, it was agreed to hold the 58th session of the Unity Council in Syria. 

The statement pointed out that the Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity, Mohammadi Ahmed al-Nani, stressed the importance of Syria’s presence in the Council of the Arab League and its organizations and specialized bodies. 

He expressed the hope that the return of Syria and its participation in the meetings will contribute to strengthening Arab action. S

He praised the efforts of the President of the Arab Union of Productive Families and Craft and Traditional Industries in representing Syria at the Arab level. 

For his part, Al-Qadah said that all efforts will be made in coordination with the Council to hold a successful session of the Council that includes various activities and events. 

After the approval decision, Younes Al-Khataibeh, President of the Arab Trainers Union, announced that after the end of the current session, the presidency of the next session of the Arab federations will be transferred to the next president of the session, Mohamed Abdel Basset Al-Qadah, President of the Arab Federation of Productive Families and Craft and Traditional Industries.
