The continuous crimes of the occupation require urgent international action to stop them – Palestinian Foreign Ministry

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation require urgent international action to stop them and provide protection for the Palestinian people. It said that these crimes, which have reached the level of war crimes and crimes against humanity, are escalating amidst  the silence of the  international community.

In a statement on Wednesday, carried by Wafa  News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the crimes and violations of the occupation forces and settlers, the most recent of which was in the city of Nablus, which resulted in the death of 15-year-old Mahdi Hashash, and the injury of others.

The Foreign Ministry indicated that the policy of double standards cannot vindicate the occupation and the crimes it commits, nor can it absolve the international community of its responsibilities according to the resolutions of international legitimacy and the rules of international law.

For his part, the Head of the Palestinian National Council, Rawhi Fattouh, stressed in a statement today that the Palestinian people will respond to the crimes of the occupation with more steadfastness and resistance and defending land, dignity and identity.
