Damascus (ST): Under the title “Measurement and Evaluation Advances Education,” the International Scientific Conference began today at the auditorium of the Faculty of Education in Damascus.
The participants in the conference, which is organized by the Faculty of Education at Damascus University in cooperation with the Center for Measurement and Evaluation in the Ministry of Education and the Scientific Association of Faculties of Education in Arab Universities, with the participation of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization “UNESCO”, will review a number of studies and research on enhancing the comprehensive evaluation of the educational supervisor,the role of moral leadership for school principals in enhancing the level of organizational justice among teachers, the procedural executive guide for the question banks system in university colleges, and the evaluation of administrative performance at the University of Damascus and the clinical evaluation approach to school counseling programs in the light of evidence-based practice.
The participants will also discuss, over two days, other axes related to evaluating educational performance and the effectiveness of electronic tests, the skills of designing interactive digital educational content and measuring and evaluating education from a global perspective through monitoring the fourth sustainable development goal, linguistic assessment and evaluating the test of English as a foreign language for the secondary education certificate in Syria, in addition to the role of modern technology in improving the classroom management environment “electronic tests as a model”.
