The competent authorities find weapons and ammunition left behind by terrorists in Homs countryside

Homs (ST):  The competent authorities in Homs have found quantities of various weapons and ammunition left behind by terrorists in the northern countryside.

News correspondent in Homs said that through its follow-up of combing operations and cleaning the northern countryside from remnants of terrorist organizations, the competent authorities found quantities of weapons and ammunition, some of them western-made.

The weapons included 188   automatic rifles, 7 medium machine guns, 114 boxes of 12.5 ammunition, 18 boxes of 14.5 ammunition, 148 B9 rounds, 101 mortar rounds, 60 propellants and 4 mortar fuse boxes.

On the twenty-first of last month, the competent authorities found weapons and ammunition left over from terrorists in the eastern countryside of Homs, including 221 mortar shells and 262 rifles.
