The coercive measures imposed on Syria are unacceptable and must be lifted, says Haredi

Cairo, (ST) – The former Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister, Ambassador Hussein Haredi affirmed that the unilateral Western coercive measures imposed on Syria are unacceptable, especially at a time when the world is facing the Corona epidemic.

Haredi said in a special statement to the SANA correspondent in Cairo that it is morally impossible to accept such sanctions and coercive measures at this time as the countries are fighting the Corona epidemic while western countries seek to achieve their own political agenda by imposing it, indicating that the United States is using these sanctions to achieve its political purposes against Syria, Iran, Venezuela and other countries.

Haredi appreciated the steadfastness of Syria, the army, the people, and the government, in the face of terrorism and the conspiracies it suffered, pointing out that many countries and peoples of the world support the Syrian state in its war against terrorism and its confrontation with hostile American conspiracies and policies.
