The challenge of the year 2014

Syria’s presidential elections have been the most outstanding and important even in 2014 not only for Syria, the region but worldwide. The sinister hatched plot by the ewes and new colonialists against Syria  was indeed given a severe blow ! The questions of legitimacy and illegitimacy are and should only be decided by the people of all countries respectively.

For Syrians, the landslide vote for H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad  has been their sharp cry of wrath against the conspirators and terrorists; it has indeed been the paying of favors back to their savior, guardian, and their hero army represented in every Syrian soldier! The Syrians’ thrilling message to the world was so loud and clear: our legitimacy, civilization, history and role is but President Bashar Al-Assad.

The elections have been the challenge of the year 20014! Thanks to the sacrifices of the Syrian Army, security and defense forces, the Syrians won the challenge and voted for their future, dignity, pride and identity. Thus, following the elections,  the reality of the ongoing was clarified as a  struggle for and not with the president.  For the majority the president has been the sacred cause representing all and every  Syrian noble value and sanctity.

The president  has been the target by the conspirators and terrorists because he himself has been the deterrence against defeat, surrender, and hegemony; the  President, unlike all world leaders, has people in millions ready even for death and martyrdom. The elections and President Al-Assad’s inauguration speech have indeed proved Al-Assad as the invincible man in a nation and as the nation in and for every one among the millions.

 For the region, the Presidential elections in Syria in light of their outcome have been the message as to reconsider the sinister stances, stop backing terrorism, and making peace with the President of Syria, whom the elections proved as the second to none most able leader to make peace or to- if necessary- declare war. The elections outcome proved to Syria’s true friends as well as to the great dear martyrs that their sacrifices and stances have indeed been the most right, principled and moral.

All in all and in all countries worldwide, if elections were to be free and allowed, would any leader, in light of the ongoing foreign conspiracy, have such a landslide percentage of more than 88 percent? Can any country worldwide withstand a war for years  by terrorists and cannibals of more than 80 countries? None but Syria can, because there is only one President Bashar Hafez Al-Assad, one Syrian Army and once steadfast Syrian people. Rest, peace and glory to our blessed martyrs, the heroes of our revolution and war, on behalf of all the globe, against every Al-Qaeda affiliated brand of terrorism.
