The cabinet emphasizes the implementation of agreements and memorandums of understanding signed with China
The Council of Ministers emphasized the Importance of adopting required procedures by each ministry to follow up the implementation of the agreements and memorandums of understanding that were signed during the recent visit of President Bashar Al-Assad to China.
The agreements included economic and technical cooperation and economic development . The cabinet stressed the importance of implementing the agreements in order to achieve the highest national interest.
During its weekly session on Tuesday, the Council of Ministers approved a marketing plan for the citrus crop estimated at about 825 thousand tons for this season, calling the concerned sides to follow up to secure the requirements of the marketing process.
Prime Minster Hussein Arnous stressed the need to secure the agricultural supplies for the current winter season, including seeds, fertilizers, and fuel, as well as to commit to achieving the approved agricultural plan.
The Council approved the completion of work for the Biotherapeutics Research Center at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Damascus. It also approved a number of service and development projects in a number of governorates.
