The Cabinet decides to close all wedding and funeral halls to stop further spreading of coronavirus in Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST)-  All the halls that are dedicated for holding special occasions, including weddings and funerals across the country are to be closed as of Friday, July 24, 2020 until further notice, according to a Cabinet decision.

The decision, issued on Thursday, comes within the framework of the precautionary measures taken by the Syrian government to prevent the further spread of coronavirus pandemic in the country.

The Cabinet also asked all the concerned ministries to apply more precautionary measures to prevent the outbreak of the deadly virus.
