The Cabinet congratulates the working class and its trade union organization on May Day

Damascus (ST): The cabinet congratulated the working class and its trade union organization, the General Federation of Trade Unions, on the occasion of International Labor Day.

In its congratulations, the Prime Ministry affirmed that this holiday symbolizes the sanctity of the meanings of work and dedication to it, despite all the difficult circumstances. It also constitutes an incentive to continue to exert precious and valuable efforts that our workers have always provided, as their blood mixed with the sweat of their brows in defense of their factories and production lines.

The Prime Ministry added that our workers have always exerted utmost effort and energies in order to increase production to secure the need of our people for various basic and necessary commodities and materials, in light of the great and dangerous challenges facing the country, including the unjust blockade that targets our people in the basics of their daily life and their livelihood, in parallel with a terrorist war supported by the forces of evil and aggression that targeted infrastructure, universities, schools and various health institutions and service and development.

The Prime Ministry expressed its great appreciation to the Syrian workers who made great sacrifices in defense of their factories, preserved their facilities, and continue to exert maximum efforts on production lines and at work sites throughout the homeland.
