The big lie

The most vicious and unlimited US support of religious extremists goes to the terrorists in the Middle East to destabilize regional governments and create crises through which the US can interfere to destroy states and kill innocent people to achieve its geopolitical interests and guarantee the security of Israel through strenuous attempts to weaken the resistance axis against Israel. This has been done over the past three years through a big lie called “The Arab Spring” and the support of Takfiri terrorist groups that have been committing acts of killing and plunder against Syrian people and their public and private properties.

 When the global conspiracy against Syria started in 2011, some inside and outside the country were misled and they believed that what is taking place is an “Arab spring” that would bring democracy and freedom to the Arab people as some leaders and countries in the region and outside the region were driven by this pretext which proved to be just a big lie and an illusion.

Why the so-called “Arab Spring” has not reached the countries which are in dire need for democracy and for the realization of human rights such as Saudi Arabia which has a backward totalitarian regime. What is the essence of this “spring” which has been plotted by Israel and the US to achieve sinister geopolitical objectives against the region and its people?

The prolonged crisis in Syria, which has wreaked huge damage on Syria’s civilization and achievements and prompted large numbers of the population to flee their towns and villages, was caused by Turkey and other countries’ support for terrorists. Since the outbreak of the crisis, the Turkish government has stopped at nothing in its attempts to undermine stability in Syria and endanger its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Turkey has been providing political, military and logistical support for terrorist organizations and facilitating the entry of terrorists coming from over 83 countries making Turkey a basic springboard for terrorism hitting Syria and Iraq and jeopardizing the entire region.

The Turkish government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan has regularly facilitated the entry of the armed terrorist groups into Kassab area in Lattakia countryside and other border areas.

Erdogan’s acts are a violation of international resolutions calling for convicting all forms of terrorist acts. These acts prove that Syrian leadership was right when it said that Erdogan and his government are involved in international terrorism.

Syria’s enemies have allocated money to sell mercenaries to kill the Syrians, and when they failed, they encouraged killers and criminals from all around the world to come to Syria through the regime of the “Muslim Brothers” in Turkey, yet they failed in achieving their goals once again. Erdogan, who is aspiring to become the “Ottoman Caliph” failed despite of the financial support and promises provided to him and to the terrorist organizations by the West.

Beheading hundreds and maybe thousands of the Syrians at the hands of the terrorist organizations should draw the attention of the US and the West if they are really interested in defending human rights and in countering terrorism, but in fact they are not interested in this issue at all.

Syria has informed all the bodies concerned that combating terrorism in and outside the country is its top priority to stop terrorism and bloodshed. The Syrian government has exerted all possible efforts to find a framework for the political solution of the crisis, but the enemies of Syria are still targeting the Syrian state due to its principled stand in confrontation of the Zionist American axis which aims, among other things, to subjugate the Arab region economically and politically and perpetuate the Israeli occupation of the Arab territories.
