The attacks of the Turkish occupation continue on  Alouk water station

Hasakah, (ST) – For the fifteenth consecutive day, the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continue on the Allouk water project in the countryside of the occupied city of Ras Al-Ain in the northern countryside of Hasakah. This matter led to a delay in pumping water to the people in the city of Hasakah and the surrounding neighborhoods and increasing their suffering in obtaining drinking water in the city center.

The Director of the Public Water Establishment in Hasakah Governorate, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Akla said in a statement to SANA reporter that the terrorist groups within the areas controlled by the Turkish occupation in the countryside of Ras Al-Ain have attacked the Alouk Water Station and the electrical lines feeding it.

“Electricity thefts coming from Al-Darbasiyah power station towards Allouk station also continue”, Al-Akla added.

Al-Akla pointed out that as a result of the security situation and the continuous Turkish attacks on the areas of the northern countryside of Tel Tamer, the maintenance workshops in the Water Establishment during the past two days have not been able to go to the Alouk Station to maintain faults in water submersibles and electrical and mechanical equipment. Therefore, the station is currently operating at its minimum production capacity, waiting for the conditions that make the station work again.

It is noteworthy that the Water Establishment divides the city of Hasakah and its surrounding neighborhoods into six pumping sectors. The period of water cuts for each sector may extend for a period of approximately twenty days as a result of the attacks committed by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation.
