The arrival of 16 medicinal types for doses of cancer treatment in Hasaka

Hasaka, (ST) – 16 types of medicinal doses for cancer patients arrived in al-Hasakah governorate from the Syrian Association for the Treatment of Childhood Cancer.

In a statement to SANA’s correspondent, the association’s board chairperson, Muzna Mahmoud al-Olabi, stated that, the medicines had arrived from Aleppo governorate, and that they were filling the need for the two centers for treating tumors in al-Hasakah and Qamishli. She pointed that work will be made during the coming days to secure other doses through the volunteers .

Al-Olabi stressed the importance of the arrival of cancer treatment medicine so that patients can be given the appropriate in treatment according to the protocols of the Ministry of Health and Al-Biruni Hospital.

The Syrian Children’s Cancer Society opened the two centers last September, and they played a prominent role in alleviating the suffering and burdens of families and cancer patients, sparing them the trouble of traveling to Damascus for treatment.
