The arrest of an ISIS leader and his assistant south of Baghdad

Baghdad, (ST) – Iraqi security forces captured two terrorists belonging to the “ISIS” organization during a security operation south of the capital, Baghdad.

Al-Sumaria News quoted a statement from the Intelligence Agency in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior as saying today that “the security forces arrested the official of the so-called intelligence service in Fallujah State of the ISIS terrorist organization called Abu Salem al-Mawla and his brother who works as an aide to him in a security operation south of Baghdad.”

The statement added that, through preliminary investigations with them, they admitted their affiliation with those criminal gangs and their participation in several terrorist operations against the security forces and citizens.
