The army kills more than 10 terrorists in Daraa, seizes a tunnel near Damascus

Provinces – An army unit killed more than 10 terrorists affiliated to the so-called Tawhid al-Janoub Brigade and destroyed their den, vehicles and a fortified center for a machinegun fighter in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa province.

A military source said that terrorists Ziyad Jaber Aba Zaid, Fadi Bajbouj, Abu Dujana al-Abboud, Amer al-Falouji, Haitham Abu al-Oyoun al-Mahamid, Ahmad Abdel-Karim al-Masalmeh, Owis Qat’aneh, Abu al-Yaman, Abu al-Qayyas were identified among the dead. Five of the terrorists injured during the military operations targeted them were admitted to the Israeli hospitals, SANA reported.

The source added that another army unit targeted a terrorist group’s positions in al-Sad (Dam) road neighborhood and bombarded their infiltration axes east of Busra Square and al-Tulabiyeh Square in Daraa al-Mahata neighborhood.

The army bombardment resulted in killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying their equipment, weapons and ammunition.

 

Another army unit targeted a gathering of terrorists while involved in setting up fortifications to the northwest of the ridge of al-Gharyiyeh al-Gharbiyeh village to the northeast of Daraa city, destroying a bulldozer and killing almost all the terrorists there.

Damascus Countryside

An army unit seized in a special operation in Harasta area in Damascus Countryside a 250 m tunnel used by terrorist groups to infiltrate areas and transport weapons and ammunition.

The military source said the engineering members of the army unit destroyed the tunnel along with the fortifications set up by the terrorists above it.

Last Sunday, an army unit blew up two hideouts for terrorists of the so-called “Al-Rahman Legion” in Jobar neighborhood in Eastern Ghouta after planting large amounts of explosives in them, leaving all the terrorists inside dead or injured.
