The army kills more terrorists in different areas

Provinces – The army and armed forces continued on Saturday their crackdown on armed terrorist groups all over the country, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their criminal weapons, SANA reported.

Damascus countryside

Army units established control over several blocks of building in Khan al-Shih town in Damascus western countryside.

A military source said that army units broadened the control zone in Khan al-Shih town after eliminating the last gatherings of terrorists in the blocks of buildings there.

Army units struck terrorists’ sites in Drousha farms in Damascus countryside, killing a number of terrorists.

Daraa

Army units on Saturday carried out special operations against dens and positions of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in the countryside of Daraa southern province.

An army unit carried out concentrated strikes against a terrorist group affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in the direction of the silos in al-Yadouda town in the western countryside, killing most members of the group and destroying their arms.

Later, a military source said that an army unit eliminated a number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Yarmouk Park in Daraa al-Balad.

Meanwhile, an  army unit killed all members of a terrorist group in a precise ambush while they were moving from Sakra village in Braq area in the northeastern countryside towards the eastern Badiya.

12 terrorists were killed in the ambush and their arms and ammunition were destroyed.

Homs

Army units  carried out intensive bombardments against positions of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, 18 km to the north of Homs City.

A number of two terrorist groups’ members were killed in the bombardments and others were injured and their military equipment was destroyed in al-Bayka farms to the west of Um Sharshouh village and in al-Wa’ara village in Talbisa.

Meanwhile, 6 terrorists were killed in a special operation carried out by the army against a position of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in Ezz Edin village in the northern countryside of the province.

The killed terrorists are Walid al-Nasser, Mohammad Khlaif Abu Jamal, Mohammad B’albawi, Ahmed Ezz Edin, Sa’ad Azroun and Hafez Zghaib.

An army unit also thwarted ISIS terrorist group’s attempt to attack the village of Um Jamea in the countryside of the province, killing and injuring its members.

Quneitra

 An Army unit eliminated a 15-member terrorist group near Taranja crushers in Quneitra northern countryside.

Army units destroyed a rocket launcher and a 120 mm cannon during army operations against terrorists’ sites in the province.

An army unit clashed with terrorist groups linked to Jabhat al-Nusra that were moving in the bushes of Taranja and the surrounding of Tal al-Hamria in an attempt to infiltrate into military positions in Dahret al-Kassar and Kroum al-Kashe to the south of Hadar town in the northern countryside of Quneitra Province.

At least ten terrorists were killed during the clashes and big amounts of their weapons and ammunition were destroyed.

Idleb/Lattakia

Army units struck gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Baddama in Idleb southern countryside and Hadada in Lattakia northeastern countryside.

A number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were killed and a vehicle for them destroyed.
