Provinces – The Army and armed forces continued Tuesday combating terrorism and terrorists organizations of Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS as well as other terrorist groups affiliated to them throughout the country, SANA reported.
Daraa
Army destroys dens and vehicles for al-Nusra terrorists
Army units destroyed Tuesday dens and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization and the so called “al-Muthana Islamic Movement” affiliated to ISIS in the southern province of Daraa.
A military source said that an army unit destroyed gathering for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists as well as a number of their heavy machinegun equipped vehicles at the south side of al-Summaqiyat town in the south-western countryside of Daraa, while another unit killed a number of terrorists at the western neghbourhood of Busra al-Sham city some 40 kilometers to the east of Daraa the city.
Meanwhile another unit destroyed terrorists vehicle at al-Abbassiya district and a fortified position for the so called “al-Muthana Islamic Movement” at the south-eastern side of power station in Daraa al-Balad.
Hama/ Idleb
Fifteen terrorists killed in military operations
At least 15 terrorists were killed, most of the belong to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group that is leading the so-called al-Fateh Army linked to the Turkish and Saudi regimes, in military operations carried out in the countryside of Hama and Idleb provinces, a field sources said.
The sources said that army units ambushed a Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group in al-Qantara in the countryside of Salamyieh, to the east of Hama city.
Elsewhere, four terrorists at least were killed in the ambush and their weapons were destroyed while other terrorists fled to al-Badyia (desert area).
In Idleb countryside, field sources said that an army unit carried out an operation targeting a weapon cache, that belong to al-Fateh Army terrorists, in the village of Maaret Herme, where 10 terrorists gote killed and the weapons inside destroyed.
The terrorist Mohammad Ali al-Rashid was identified among the killed terrorists.
