The army hits more terrorist targets, foils infiltration attempts in various areas

Provinces – The army units and Air Force continued operations against terrorist organizations in provinces across the country, targeting the terrorists’ movements, positions and vehicles in some areas and foiling in their attacks and infiltration attempts in others, SANA reported.

Aleppo

The Syrian Air Force killed many terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in al-Rashidin neighborhood, to the east of Orum al-Sughra, Abu Shailem, Qabtan al-Jabal and Khan Touman in the countryside of Aleppo province.

Homs

The Syrian Air Force destroyed a number of vehicles and positions for ISIS terrorists in the surroundings of al-Shaer field and in Rahoum, Um al-Reesh and to the north of Abu al-Alaya in the eastern countryside of Homs province, according to a military source.

Hama

Army units killed a number of “Jaish al-Fateh” terrorists, including a Jabhat al-Nusra leader who is named Mehdi al-Abed, and destroyed four vehicles and a pickup car in al-Latamina, Mourek and Kafar Zita in the northern countryside of Hama province.

Other army units destroyed 3 vehicles equipped with machine guns belonging to “Jaish al-Fatah” terrorists in Tibet al-Imam and Souran in the countryside.

Sweida

An Army and Armed Forces unit thwarted an attack by ISIS terrorists who were attempting to infiltrate from al-Ghbeib valley towards Tal Bouthaina hill in the northeastern countryside of Sweida province.

A military source said that the army unit targeted the terrorists’ movements with precision fire, leaving the terrorists dead or wounded, and destroying their equipment.

Later, the source said that another army unit eliminated most members of a terrorist group in al-Lajat area in the province’s northern countryside.

Daraa

In Daraa province, army units killed and injured a number of terrorists and destroyed their fortifications in al-Arbaeen neighborhood and the surroundings of the old customs building in Daraa al-Balad area.

Idleb

An army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed some of their vehicles in Maartamsarin area in the countryside of Idleb province.
