The army expands established control areas, kills terrorists’ leaders

Provinces – The army and armed forces, backed by popular defense groups, achieve more successes in fighting terrorists in different areas of the country by expanding established control areas, killing terrorist organizations’ leaders and destroy their weapons, SANA reported.

Daraa

Terrorist leaders killed

 An army unit killed Saturday a number of terrorists including terrorist Zouhair Hussein al-Zoubi, one of the the so called leaders of Jabhat al-Nusra affiliated “Karama brigade”, in the southern city of Daraa.

The army conducted a special operation against a gathering of terrorists in Daraa Balad neighborhood in the southern city of Daraa where a number of terrorists leaders were killed incuding al-Zoubi, while others were injured.

Meanwhile, a group of terrorists’ members were killed and injured and their weapons were destroyed in an operation targeting their gatherings in Attman town in the northern countryside of the Province.

Lattakia

In the coastal province of Lattakia, the army and armed forces units, backed by popular defense groups, killed a big number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons during expanding military operations in the north-eastern side of the province and the hills surrounding Ghammam town.

Aleppo

More ISIS terrorists killed and injured and their vehicles destroyed as the Syrian army air force targeted their hideouts and fortresses in al-Sheikh Ahmad, Um Arkileh, Tal Ahmar and Rasem al-Abed in the eastern countryside of Aleppo Province.

Hama

The Syrian Amy air force killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles and weapons in Khan Shekhoun, al-Tamana’a, al-Qassabia and Skeik in the countryside of Idleb and Hama provinces.

Homs

In the central province of Homs, the Syrian army air force destroys gatherings and fortifications of ISIS terrorists in al-Sawana Sharqia, Jebb Jaraah, Hawareen and the surroundings of Maheen town in the countryside of the central province of Homs.
