The army establishes control over more areas across the country

Provinces – The army continued advancing in Aleppo and other provinces, inflicting heavy casualties and material losses upon the terrorist organizations, SANA reported.

Aleppo

More villages and vantage points under the army’s control

Syrian Arab Army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, established full control over Tal Bajer and Tal Hadiyeh hills, the villages of Tleilat, Maryouda, Khirbet al-Kousa, al-Eis, Baness, and Rasm Sahrij in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo province.

 Army operations in the province’s eastern countryside against ISIS concentrations and their movements and supply lines resulted in expanding the army’s control in the surroundings of Kwairis Military Airport by establishing control over Erbid and al-Tammat villages northwest of the airport.

The terrorist organizations in those areas suffered heavy losses in personnel and equipment, with a number of their heavy machinegun-equipped vehicles getting destroyed, adding that the army and defense groups are pursuing the remaining terrorists in the area in order to secure it fully.

Today’s new achievement came after several other areas came under the army’s control, including the strategic al-Eis hill and al-Hader city on Thursday.

Moreover, the army targeted terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in Tal Istabl and al-Salihyeh, killing a number of terrorists and leaving others wounded, in addition to carrying out operations against ISIS terrorists in the areas of Sharba’a, al- Afash, and Ein al-Jamajima near Kwairis Airport, destroying machinegun-equipped vehicles along with the terrorists on board.

To the west of Aleppo city, an army unit destroyed an ammo and weapon depot for Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists in al-Mansoura, 10 km of Aleppo city.

Meanwhile, the army killed and injured scores of Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists and other Turkish-backed terrorist organizations in al-Amryeh and al-Sheikh Saeed neighborhoods in Aleppo city.

Later, the Syrian Arab Army carried out airstrikes on fortified sites and hideouts for ISIS in Ein al-Jajeh, Jarouf, Deir Hafer, Ein al-Jahesh, Maskanak, Jub Ghabsha, al-Bab, and Tal Ahmar villages in the province’s eastern and northeastern countryside, inflicting heavy losses on terrorists and destroying many of their machinegun-equipped vehicles.

Damascus Countryside

The Syrian Air Force carried out sorties on Friday which targeted hideouts of ISIS terrorists in al-Zamrani valley near the two of Qara in the northern part of al-Qalamoun area in Damascus Countryside.

The sorties resulted in destroying fortified sites, vehicles, and military equipment for the terrorists.

Army units carried out concentrated operations against targets from “Jaish al-Islam” terrorist organizations south of Harasta highway in the direction of Aaliya farms, which resulted in establishing control over al-Azem building and a number of blocks of buildings next to the highway, in addition to a number of farms east of the Medical Services School and Nour al-Cham School.

The operations in the area resulted in destroying barricades, fortifications, tunnels, and ditches used by terrorists.

Deir Ezzor

At least 60 members of ISIS terrorist organization were killed during an operation by a Syrian Arab Army unit in Hwejat Sakr in Deir Ezzor countryside.

An based on accurate intelligence, an army unit carried out concentrated strikes on a location where terrorists from ISIS were conducting a meeting in Hwejat Sakr 10km southeast of Deir Ezzor city, which resulted in the destruction of the entire location and the elimination of 60 terrorists that were inside it, most of whom were foreigners.

A military leader in ISIS known as Iyad al-Mleihan was killed during clashes between an army unit and ISIS members in al-Rasafa neighborhood at the outskirts of Deir Ezzor city.

Lattakia & Hama

Army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, established control over al-Karoura Mount and Talat Hassouna in the countryside of Lattakia and Hama, killing scores of non-Syrian terrorists and destroying their weaponry and munitions.

Meanwhile, the Syrian army air force targeted hideouts for Jabhet al-Nusra and Jaish al-Fatih terrorist organizations in Morek, Lahaya, al-Lataminah and Kifr Zeita in Hama northern countryside, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their weaponry and munitions.

Later, army units destroyed a BMP vehicle and a vehicle equipped with double 14.50mm machineguns and eliminated 15 terrorists in Morek and al-Lataminah, and that army operations in Morek resulted in the death of many terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations affiliated to it, including Khaled al-Aaraj, Mohammad al-Jassem, Saleh al-Amouri, Fayez al-Ashtar, Mohammad Khaled al-Bakri, Ahmad al-Berro, Abdelkarim al-Jobasi, Ezzo al-Ahmad, Ibrahim al-Agha, and Mohammad Ibrahim al-Khali, in addition to destroying 5 vehicles and weapons that were in their possession.

Many terrorists from Jaish al-Fateh were killed on al-Lataminah, including Abdelrahman Zreiq aka al-Amir, Laith Zreiq, Mohammad al-Khaled, Ahmad al-Alian, and Mohannad al-Fadel.

Homs

The Syrian Air Force carried out on Friday sorties which targeted concentrations of terrorist groups under the command of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organizations in the Teirma’ala north of Homs city, inflicting losses in personnel and equipment upon them.

Army units stationed in the surroundings of Jazal and al-Shaer oil field carried out intensive strikes against movements of ISIS terrorists near Jazal village, al-Shaer Mountain, and Manoukh village northwest of Palmyra (Tadmur) city, which resulted in destroying concentrations of terrorists and a number of their vehicles.

In the province’s southeastern countryside, the army destroyed ISIS gatherings and bases near Hawarin billage and in the warehouses area near Maheen town, and later an army unit destroyed three machinegun-equipped vehicles and an armored vehicle used by ISIS at the outskirts of Maheen.

Another army unit, assisted by popular defense group, clashed with terrorist groups that attacked the villages of Oum al-Serj and Abu al-Alaya, which resulted in the death of many terrorists while the rest fled towards Palmyra countryside.

Daraa

Army units destroyed a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun and loaded with arms and ammunition for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the direction of Hamidet al-Taher-al-Nazihin Camp in the southern Daraa province.

A number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were killed or injured and their arms and weapons were destroyed in an army operation in Ataman town, 5km north of Daraa city.
