The army eliminates terrorists, including a group leader, and injures others in Lattakia countryside

Damascus (ST): A number of terrorists were killed, along with their leader, and others were injured, during the Syrian Arab Army’s response to an attempt by a terrorist group to infiltrate at dawn today into the Kabana axis in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

The Ministry of Defense announced in a statement, “A unit of our armed forces confronted this dawn a terrorist group that tried to infiltrate into one of our military points, operating on the Kabana axis in the northern countryside of Lattakia.”

The statement indicated that the response of the army units led to the killing and wounding of a number of terrorists, including their leader, codenamed “Abu Rawaha.”
