The army eliminates several terrorist groups in various areas

Provinces – The army continued its large-scale operations against terrorist organizations in different provinces where it killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and vehicles as the competent authorities seized amounts of arms and ammunition in Hama, SANA reported.

Hama

A unit of the army destroyed a den of the so-called “Gathering of al-Ezza Brigades” to the south of al-Latamna town, 35 km to the north of Hama city, killing 7 terrorists at least, among them the self-claimed Field Commander terrorist Ahmed Bilal and terrorists Abu Suleiman al-Homsi, Ahmed Mansour and Moussa Bilal.

 A unit of the army also destroyed a den of the so-called “Jund al-Aqsa” in concentrated operations carried out in the vicinity of al-Latamna town, killing one of the self-claimed leaders of the extremist organization, terrorist Mohammad Rashed, nicknamed “Abu al-Atir.”

Separately, four vehicles belonging to the terrorist organizations were also destroyed in a special operation carried out by the army against a convoy of terrorists’ vehicles that was moving to the east of al-Hamamyiat town, 33 km to the north of Hama City.

The Air Force carried out air raids against gatherings of ISIS terrorists in Arafeh village to the north east of Hama city and on axes and gatherings of terrorist organizations in al-Lattamneh and Latmin in the north western countryside of the province.

Dens of Takfiri terrorists along with terrorists, arms and ammunition were eliminated during the air strikes.

Meanwhile, Takfiri terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages that a number of their members were killed in the northern countryside of Hama.

Idleb

In Idleb countryside, a unit of the army carried out concentrated strikes against a convoy of vehicles belonging to “Jasih al-Fatih” terrorists near Slayyia village in Khan Sheikhoun, destroying two vehicles at least.

Aleppo

The army’s air force launched airstrikes against ISIS’ positions and gatherings in Um Arkilla village in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

ISIS’ dens were destroyed during the airstrikes.

Earlier on the day, the army targeted terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in Zeitan, Karm Hawmad, Tal Fa’ouri and Qalajeh in Aleppo countryside, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their weaponry and vehicles.

The army also targeted terrorists near the air force academy and east of al-Safeira area and killed and injured a number of terrorists.

The army also targeted terrorists’ hideouts in a number of the city’s neighborhoods and killed a number of terrorists and destroyed many of their vehicles.

Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization acknowledged on its Twitter account on Saturday the death of the so called Abu Suliman al-Masri, the military leader of the organization in the area surrounding Tal al-Qarassi in the southern countryside of Aleppo.

Damascus Countryside

An army unit carried out a special operation against a gathering of terrorists from the so-called “Ajnad al-Sham Islamic Union” in Daraya city in Damascus Countryside.

The operation was successful as it resulted in the death of all members of the targeted terrorist group, while their weapons and ammunition were destroyed.

An army unit, in cooperation with popular defense groups, eliminated a large number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in southwestern Damascus Countryside.

The clash took place in the surroundings of Harboun height west of Erneh town, and that it resulted in killing and injuring many terrorists and destroying their weapons and munitions.

Sweida

An army unit, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, targeted fortifications for ISIS terrorists in Khirbet Saada in the northeastern countryside of the southern Sweida province.

All the terrorists targeted were killed, and weapons and ammunition were destroyed.

Homs

Syrian Army units carried out operations targeting terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in Homs province’s northern countryside, which resulted in destroying concentrations of terrorists in the town of Teirmaala and its surroundings 7km north of Homs city.

Another army unit targeted positions of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the surroundings of al-Ameriye and Ein Hassan al-Jaboubi villages near Talbiseh, inflicting losses in personnel and equipment upon the terrorists.
