The army destroys terrorists’ strongholds, weapon caches and drone launching pads in Idlib countryside
The Syrian Arab army on Saturday destroyed terrorist groups’ positions, weapon caches and drone launching pads in the southern and northwestern countryside of Idlib, according to the Ministry of Defense.
In a statement posted on its facebook account, the Ministry of Defense said that within the framework of its national duty and in retaliation against repeated attacks by the armed terrorist organizations on safe villages and towns and some military points, The Syrian Arab Army forces, deployed in Idlib countryside, in cooperation with the Russian air forces, carried out several qualitative military operations targeting the terrorists positions, vehicles, weapons caches and drone-launching pads in the southern and northwestern countryside of Idlib. The army forces managed to destroy all the targets, killed and injured tens of terrorists and shot down two suicide drones.
The terrorists killed during the operations were affiliated to the so-called Turkestan Islamic Party and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terror organizations.
