The army destroys terrorists’ fortifications and rocket and mortar launching positions in Homs and Hama
Provinces – Army units launched sweeping operations against terrorist organizations’ positions and gatherings in different areas, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment, SANA reported.
Homs
The army unit destroyed a number of rocket and mortar launch pads and positions in the villages and towns of al-Ghanto, Talbiseh, Ghirnata and al-Farhaniyeh in the northern countryside of Homs after a shellign attack that targeted Jabbourin and al-Mukhtariyeh villages.
Meanwhile, in the countryside of Palmyra in East Homs, the Syrian Air Force targeted gatherings and movements of ISIS terrorist groups in the surroundings of Station 4, Tadmuc (Palmyra) city and near the oil and gas fields.
A number of fortifications were destroyed and several ISIS terrorists were killed in the airstrikes.
In the same context, army units, backed by the Air Force and Artillery, carried out special operations against gatherings and movements of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the northern and eastern countryside of Homs province.
The Syrian Air Force and Artillery targeted with extensive strikes Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ dens and movements in Deir Foul village in the northern countryside of Homs, killing many of them and destroying a vehicle equipped with a machine gun.
Abdel Hadi Khashfeh, Mohammed Taoumeh, Ayman al-Mirjawi, Moussa al-Jamous, Khaled Kseibi, Abdul Majid Wakiyeh, Abdullah al-Khaled, Ayman al-Akeidi and Ismail al-Jamous were identified among the killed terrorists.
Hama
The Syrian Air Force targeted ISIS gatherings and positions in Qassr Ibn Wardan area and Brigit village in the eastern countryside of Hama province.
A position of ISIS terrorists was destroyed and a number of them were killed or injured in the surroundings of Oneiq Bajerah in Qassr Ibn Wardan area, about 60 km east of Hama city.
In the southwestern countryside of Salamiyeh area, the source said the Air Force destroyed more positions of ISIS terrorists, leaving a number of them dead or wounded.
