The army continues hunting down ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists

Provinces – The army units, backed by the Air Force, continue hunting down terrorists from ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and other organizations all across the country, killing many of them and destroying their hideouts and vehicles in intensified operations, SANA reported.

Homs

The army’s air force destroyed ISIS terrorists’ dens, vehicles and supply routes on al-Sukhneh-Palmyra road in the central province of Homs, according to a military source.

 

ISIS terrorists were targeted in army airstrikes that hits their gatherings in the villages of Hossess and Jbab Hamad to the east of Homs city.

The air force carried out sorties against ISIS terrorists to the east of al-Qaryatain city and in the vicinity of al-Barideh village, south east of Homs, destroying their dens and vehicles.

Hama

The army’s air force carried out a series of airstrikes on positions and fortifications for ISIS terrorists in Abu Hbeilat village and Wadi al-Ozeib area, 110  km east of Hama city.

The source confirmed that a number of the sites hit were destroyed, along with vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns, while many ISIS terrorists were killed and injured.

Daraa

An army unit foiled a Jabhat al-Nusra attack on a military post in al-Manshiyeh neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city.

The source explained that the army unit clashed with a Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group that infiltrated the surroundings of the military post, located in the southern part of al-Manshiyeh neighborhood.

The source pointed out that all the group’s members were killed and their weapons were destroyed during the clashes.

Deir Ezzor

The army’s air force targeted gatherings and dens for ISIS terrorists in al-Mrei’iyeh village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor province.

The airstrikes resulted in the death of a number of ISIS terrorists and the destruction of their positions and vehicles, some of them equipped with machineguns.
