The army continues chasing terrorists across the country

Provinces – The Syrian army units, backed by air force, on Thursday continued carrying out counter-terrorism operations against terrorist organizations across the country, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their arms, dens and vehicles, SANA reported.

 Hama

Army units destroyed ISIS terrorists’ hideouts and movement axes in the villages of Qulaib al-Thaor, Abu Hbeilat, Tabaret al-Deibeh and al-Hamra and in the surroundings of al-Mufagar and east of Abu Hanaya in the eastern countryside of Hama province.

 

A military source said that the army inflicted heavy losses upon the ISIS terrorists in personnel and equipment, destroying a number of their vehicles and cars, some equipped with machineguns.

Homs

The Syrian army air force destroyed ISIS terrorists’ positions and vehicles north of Sad Wadi Abyad, northeast of al-Sukhneh, al-Hail field to the east of al-Hair al-Sharqi Palace in the countryside of Homs Province, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists in weaponry and personnel.

Daraa

An army unit carried out accurate operations against the dens of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and their movements west of al-Bajabjeh neighborhood and near al-Jomrok al-Qadeem (Old Custom) in Daraa al-Balad area.

The army’s operations resulted in destroying mortar launchers, several vehicles and motorcycles in addition to killing a number of terrorists.

Deir Ezzor

The Syrian army air force destroyed a command center for ISIS terrorist organization in al-Bghailiyeh village, 6km west of Deir Ezzor city.

Another command center for ISIS terrorists was destroyed in the army units’ operations in al-Rushdiyeh neighborhood as their machineguns-equipped vehicles were targeted in the neighborhoods of al-Howeiqa and al-Hamidiyeh .
