The Armenian Minister of Defense confirms that his country will continue to provide aid to Syria

 On August 23, Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan announced that his country is determined to continue implementing the program of providing humanitarian aid to Syria, stressing that this program is of great importance.

During his meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu on the sidelines of the opening of the International Military-Technical Forum (Jeremiah 2020) in  Moscow , Tonoyan expressed his appreciation for the role of the Russian side in helping to implement the Armenian humanitarian mission in Syria.

Over the past years, Armenia has provided humanitarian aid to support the steadfastness of the Syrian people and contribute in reducing  their suffering.
