The American presence in Syria is illegal and illegitimate, says the Iranian Revolutionary Guard

TEHRAN, (ST) – The Assistant Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard for Operations, Brigadier General Abbas Nilfroshan reiterated that the US presence in Syria is illegal.

Nilfroshan explained in an interview with Al-Alam News Channel today that the Iranian advisory presence in Syria is legal and at the invitation of the Syrian government, but the presence of US forces is illegal and illegitimate, and they must leave the region.

Nilfroshan pointed out that the United States is besieged by the axis of resistance and that the embargo it imposes on Iran is due to the pressure it is being subjected to in the region, indicating that the resistance has stood firmly in the face of terrorism that was established to achieve the goals of the forces of global arrogance.
