As summer season is over, let us talk about the most preferred area in Syria, Bloudan.
Bloudan is located 51km west north of Damascus with an altitude of about 1500m above sea level.
Why is it considered the number-one tourist area in Syria? Yes, like the rest of the tourist sites, it has a number of monuments such as St. George church, St. Elias Valley, Moses Cave, and the Monastery of Younan located at the top of Mount Younan.
What about water springs? There is Al-Ain spring in the near Bloudan Great Mosque, Abu Zad spring, Ain Nsour spring, Ain Albayda, Hazir spring. This water is the secret why Bloudan’s fruit has that special, wonderful flavor.
Now we come to the most interesting part, which are restaurants and parks. As for restaurants, we have Nerbin restaurant, Mora, Abu Zad Gate, Al-Atlal, Janet Bloudan, Karm Al-Alali, and Jdoudna with its chairlifts. Each of these restaurants has its own uniqueness in the breathtaking views, the springs passing through them, and the food flavor that distinguish them from each other.
As for parks, it is an adventure by itself where you can take your own food, sit in the middle of a field, surrounded by the trees, and enjoy your meal.
Finally, we have the hotels where you can calm and rest your mind, like Bloudan Grand Hotel, Akl Hotel, and others.
You should never hesitate in visiting such a wonderful place as Bloudan.
