The Air Force establishes fire control around military academies in southern Aleppo

Provinces – The army and armed forces continued on Saturday its crackdown on armed terrorist organizations all over the country, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their criminal tools, SANA reported.

Aleppo

A military source announced that the Air Force has isolated with fire control the operations area in the surroundings of the military academies in southern Aleppo in a way that supports the army forces that are clearing the posts the terrorist groups earlier infiltrated.

The Air Force has intensified strikes and managed to curb the terrorist groups’ movement in southwestern Aleppo and cut off with fire control the routes leading into the city.

In the same context, the Air Force hit and destroyed tens of vehicles for terrorist organizations in al-Zirbeh, al-Rashidin, Orum al-Kobra, Khan al-Assad, Maaret al-Nouman and Saraqeb in the direction of Aleppo.

Earlier, the source said that the army units defending the military academies to the south of Aleppo city, backed by the air force and artillery, have inflicted heavy losses on the Takfiri terrorist groups which renewed attacks along the axis of the academies with large numbers.

The army units, backed by the Syrian Air Force and Artillery, engaged in fierce clashes against the attacking terrorist groups, according to the source, who noted that a number of terrorists were killed and many of them were injured in the clashes.

Thousands of terrorists, most of them mercenaries, attacked the axis of the academies with car bombs at midnight.

The reporter added that scores of terrorists were killed in the clashes and others were injured and a large number of their vehicles and equipment were destroyed.

The terrorist groups also fired tens of rocket shells on al-Ramousa area and on al-Hamadaniyeh neighborhood in Aleppo City, leaving a number of civilians dead or injured and causing huge material damage.

Daraa

A unit of the army and the armed forces destroyed a car belonging to the terrorist groups in an ambush on the road of Tafas-al-Yadouda in Daraa Countryside.

The source clarified that the army units ambushed a car carrying terrorists on the road of Tafas-al-Yadouda in Daraa western countryside.

The source added that the car was destroyed in the ambush with all the arms and military equipment inside it and all terrorists on board were killed.

Hama

Meanwhile, a unit of the army and the armed forces foiled a terrorist attack by Jabahat al-Nusra terrorists on military posts in the southwestern countryside of Hama central province.

An army unit clashed with a terrorist group that infiltrated from the train station towards military posts in the surroundings of al-Zara plant station, 30 km to the south of Hama City.

The source added that most of the terrorist groups’ members were killed or injured and their arms and military equipment were destroyed.

Homs

The army units destroyed two cars and many gatherings for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organzation in Um Sharshouh, Talbiseh and Tal al-Rous in Homs countryside.

Deir Ezzor

An army unit destroyed a vehicle equipped with a 14.5 mm machine gun for ISIS terrorists in the vicinity of Tal Brouk, northwest of Deir Ezzor city.

Another army unit killed 7 ISIS terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in an operation in the surroundings of Panorama, southwest of the city.
