Homs, (ST) – The General Establishment for Drinking Water and Sewage in Homs Governorate has put the Ain Al-Dinanir station in the governorate’s countryside into service after it went out of service for 8 years due to terrorism. Ain Al-Dinanir station irrigates five villages with more than seven thousand people with drinking water.
Engineer Ali Khalil, Director of Projects Implementation at the General Establishment for Drinking Water and Sewage in Homs, said in a statement to SANA that, the station stopped due to terrorism, which affected all its components, including generating sets, pumping stations and tanks, which led to suspension of work. It was rehabilitated again at a cost of more than 500 million Syrian Pounds to irrigate the villages of Ain Al Dinanir, Ain Hussein Al Janoubi, Ain Hussein Al Shamali, Al Yamama and Mazraat Al Thawra.
