The 5th conference of Syrian researchers at home and abroad kicks off

Damascus (ST): The fifth Conference of Syrian Researchers in the Homeland and Expatriate for the year 2023 kicked off this morning at the Al-Assad National Library in Damascus under the title (Conference of Syrian Researchers in the Homeland and Abroad, Towards a Knowledge-based National Economy).

The conference is organized by the Higher Commission for Scientific Research, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Syrian Virtual University and the Arab School of Science and Technology.

The three-day conference aims to provide an effective and sustainable communication environment between Syrian researchers at home and abroad to reach effective research and applied partnerships between Syrian researchers at home and abroad.

More than 60 researchers will participate in the conference, either in person or virtually, and their participation will focus on the transfer and localization of advanced technology and capacity building in the fields of information and communication, smart systems, building and construction, energy, environment, biotechnology, nanotechnology, business environment and investment.
