The 20th edition of Buildex kicks off on the grounds of the new exhibition city

With the participation of 320 local and regional trade marks, the activities of the twentieth session of the International Building Exhibition “Buildex 2023” kicked off on the grounds of the new exhibition city. The exhibition is organized by the Arab Group of Exhibitions in coordination with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.
The Minister of Public Works and Housing, Engineer Suhail Abdel Latif, pointed out the wide and diverse participation of local companies in the exhibition which contributes to advancing the economic pace.
Minister Abdel Latif explained that foreign investments are linked to the investment environment in the country in accordance with law No. 18 of 2021, which provides many advantages and facilities that allow entry into this field. Minister Abdul Latif indicated that the unjust coercive measures and the unjust siege on Syria greatly affected the Syrian people, especially after the earthquake disaster, stressing the importance of Arab openness to Syria and assistance in reconstruction.
In turn, the Governor of Damascus, Engineer Muhammad Tariq Krishati, confirmed that the exhibition is a marketing platform and an important opportunity to learn about everything new in the construction sector and the latest urban technologies for its important role in the reconstruction phase.
Krishati explained that the exhibition constitutes an opportunity to communicate with the largest number of local companies due to its presence in one place, and it also attracts a wide range of businessmen, architects, civilians, -merchants of building materials and those interested in the construction sector.
It is noteworthy that the Buildex 2023 exhibition, which continues until the 11th of this month, receives visitors from 5 until 11 pm, with free bus transportation from Damascus downtown to the fairgrounds.
