Thameco plans to manufacture pharmaceutical products valued at SYP 268 billion in 2025

The Arab Medical Company “Thameco” continues its work and it didn’t stop production with the aim of suppling the local market with different pharmaceutical products that number 35. The company plans to manufacture products valued at SYP 268 billion during the current year.

The company’s general manager, Dr. Khaldoun Harba told SANA that the number of production lines currently operating in the company is 6, in addition to the departments serving them, such as packaging and filling.

He indicated that the total number of pharmaceutical items that the company can produce reaches 60 items.

According to Dr. Harba, the current year’s plan is supported by putting two new production lines into operation to produce creams, ointments and suppositories.

He pointed out that work on establishing a pharmaceutical factory affiliated to Thameco in the industrial zone of Umm al-Zaytoun in Sweida has stopped and that attention is being directed towards rebuilding the company’s main factory in Al-Maliha area in Damascus countryside.
