Terrorists to Leave Mukhayyam al-Yarmouk

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Terrorists having positions in Mukhayyam al- Yarmouk (Yarmouk Palestinian Refugee Camp) in the southern part of Damascus are to leave the area to Idleb in implementation of an agreement between the Syrian government and the terrorist groups.

According to the agreement, besides the terrorist departure from Mukhayyam al-Yarmouk, 5000 people, besieged for years by terrorist organizations in Idleb’s Kafrayya and al-Foua towns, will be liberated and 85 kidnapped people from Ishtabraq village will be released from terrorists’ abduction, SANA reporter said.

Buses have gathered at the entrance of Mukhayyam al-Yarmouk in preparation for transporting the terrorists later, added the reporter.

He pointed out that the besieged people of Kafraya and al-Foua will be evacuated from the two towns in two phases. The first phase includes the liberation of 1500 persons while the rest will be evacuated in the second stage before the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

Earlier, an agreement was reached between the Syrian government and the terrorist groups to evacuate terrorists and their families from the towns of Yelda, Babila, and Beit Sahem in Damascus Southern Countryside.

The two agreements came hours after the Syrian Arab army reestablished control over the neighborhoods of al-Mazniyeh, al-Qadam, al-Asali and al-Joura in southern Damascus and after the army tightened the grip over the terrorist organizations having positions in southern Damascus and forced them to surrender and seek agreement to leave the area after huge losses inflicted upon them during the army’s military operation.
