Terrorists target urban areas in Damascus and Aleppo with mortars

Terrorist organizations fired today 5 mortar shells on Damascus and its suburb, killing at least one person and wounding over 5 others, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted a police command source in Damascus as citing that terrorists targeted al-Sayedeh Zainab Carage in Ebn Asaker area with a mortar shell, killing one person and causing material damage to private and public properties.

Another mortar shell hit a home in al-Qazzaz quarter in the capital [Damascus], wounding 4 persons and causing damage to 4 cars, the source added.

While in the Damascus suburb of Jaramana, one person was wounded when 3 mortar shells hit al-Qaryat alley.

Yesterday, the Takfiri terrorist organizations fired mortars from the western edge of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus on quarters of al-Tijara, Bab Touma and al-Adawi in Damascus, wounding 6 persons.

More 8 persons were wounded when rockets hit park in Aleppo city.

The rockets were fired by terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front and allied organizations.

On July 21, 5 persons were wounded as rockets fell in Nial area near the old city of Aleppo.

The US, Britain, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Israel support terrorist organizations in Syria, according to world media reports.
