Quneitra – Terrorists set fire to farmlands in Tal al-Hamriya area south of Hadar village in Quneitra countryside.

SANA said that terrorists set fire to vineyards and orchards in Tal al-Hamriya area on Friday evening, causing a large number of fruit trees to burn down.

SANA said that it is difficult to reach the area and extinguish the flames because terrorists target with shells and gunfire any person or vehicle that approaches the area, asserting that the flames are still burning as of the time of reporting this incident.

SANA added that the fire caused considerable damage in Hersh Sheita area that contained pine trees that are over 25 years old.

This is the third time that terrorists started fire in farmlands during the past two weeks.
