Terrorists Launch 19 Shells on Damascus, Open Fire on Bus on Daraa-Sweida Road, Blast Explosive Device in Hassaka

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Terrorist attacks have killed at least five civilians and wounded 38 others in Damascus, Damascus countryside, Sweida and Hassaka provinces, the official news agency (SANA) reported on Tuesday.

The agency clarified that terrorists blasted an explosive device they had planted inside a shop in the ” Senama al-Qahera” Street in the heart of northeastern Hassaka province, killing almost three civilians and wounding five others.

A fourth civilian was martyred and six others wounded when an armed terrorist group opened fire on a bus picking up civilians from Harran, al-Dweri and Jren towns located between Daraa and Sweida provinces.

The wounded civilians were admitted to the national hospital in Sweida province, police command source said.

Shell kills civilian in Jaramana city

The fifth civilian was martyred and eight others wounded when a shell hit al-Rawda quarter in Jaramana city outside Damascus.

The mortar attack caused damages to two houses, five shops and eight cars at the scene.

Another mortar attack ripped through the capital [Damascus].

Some 19 shells struck the surrounding of Souq [ al-Hal vegetable and fruits market] in a al-Zablatani and al-Abbaseyen quarters, wounding 19 civilians, a police command source declared.
