Terrorists Killed, Arrested in Several Areas. Infiltration attempts from Lebanon Foiled

GOVERNORATES,(ST)_ Scores of terrorists were killed or wounded  when the armed forces on Monday carried out  qualitative operations  in Tel Kirdi, and Duma, Harsta and Hujeira farms and al-Deyabia and al-Huseinia towns in rural Damascus.

Among the exterminated terrorists were Ahmad al-Mbayyed , Amer al-Majzoub, Maher al-Salata, Abdul Rahman Kakee, Adnan al-Ajwa, Omran al-Hamwi, Jamil al-Nono, Atieh al-Bakri Mukhis a Numeiri  ,Alaa eddine al-Saeed. and Walid al-Mkabbel, according to an official source.

The source added that the army engineering units foiled terrorists attempt to  detonate 10 bombs planted on the road leading to the Tell Kirdi weighing  between 30 and 60 kilograms and destroyed 6 cars  for transporting terrorists and their weapons .

In Daraya, the armed forces restored security and stability to the area between the cultural center and al-Sadeq mosque through al-Hassan and al-Hussein mosque and Sharaf hospital to al-Hikma (Wisdom) private school.

All members of one terrorist group, who were attacking people and property, were killed or wounded during clashes with the armed forces in the surrounding of Adra city in rural Damascus.

In Aleppo city and countryside,  the armed  forces inflected heavy losses  on the ranks of terrorists destroyed a number of cars equipped with heavy and medium machine guns in several areas of the city  and continued chasing terrorists in Sheikh Saeed area and demolished their shelters in al-Iskan, al-Maqbaram al-Shahaddin quarters, al-Hadiqa, Qdeimati fuel station and the clinic areas.

In Idleb, the armed forces killed or wounded scores of terrorists who intimidated and assaulted citizens and destroyed a number of their vehicles and criminal tools including thermal missiles terrorists tried to use in the attack on Abu al-Dohour Airport in Idleb countryside.

Also destroyed was a vehicle equipped with a heavy machine gun on the road between Korine and Qmeinas towns, whereas terrorists shelters in the surrounding of youths camps and near the brick factory in al-Neirab town. 

In Deir al-Zour and its surroundings, the armed forces eliminated several leaders of the armed terrorists groups and confiscated their weapon.

Among the killed terrorists were Youssef Taha al-Mahous, leader of the so called al-Furqan Brigade, Youssef Fayyad al-Rafdan, Muhammad al-Sheikh Fares, Ahmad Abbas al-Awan, Anas Khalil al-Hamran, Moutaz Kamal al-Zayed, Ahmad al-Saleh and Ahmad al-Jadei .

In collaboration with citizens, the armed forces engaged with one terrorist group which tried to assault citizens in Jazra town and killed three terrorists and arrested seven and confiscated their weapons.

In  a series of qualitative operations, the armed forces destroyed  rocket launchers bases in Daraa and its countryside, where terrorist Ahmad Saleh al-Masalmeh was killed and another nicknamed Abu Rami was arrested.

In Wadi al-Yarmouk area the armed forces killed  Ali Abdo al-Zamel, member of the al-Qaeda affiliated al-Nusra Front, whereas terrorists Hussein al-Majarish, Aseed Ziad Abdul Rahman al-Zou’bi, Wasim Abdullah al-Rawashdeh and Amin Abu Shanab, were arrested   in Khurber Ghazala town.

In parallel, several terrorists were killed or injured as a homemade rocket exploded while they were trying to ambush al-Tieba village in rural Daraa to target citizens and security forces.

The armed forces foiled terrorists’ attempts to infiltrate in large numbers from Adeline and Azair centers on the Syrian-Lebanese border by cars and motorcycles before they were attacked by the armed forces. Direct hits were achieved on the terrorists’ ranks and they were forced to retreat back into Lebanon.

A car equipped with a heavy machine gun carrying terrorists who were carrying acts of intimidation, kidnapping and looting and assault was destroyed at the southern entrance of al-Hosn town in rural Tel Kalakh.

Terrorists Abdul Aziz Mahmud and Mohammad Yousuf were killed in Telbiseh while Abdul Rahman al-Sayyed, Ghiath al-Wazeer, Fayez al-Hamadan, Yahya Qabaji, Farhan al-Haddaj, Wajih al-Deiri, Yasser al-Hammoud , Dia Bakour, Abdul Qader Abbas , Muhammad Hadid  and Mustafa Saeed were killed  in Kafraya, Jobar and al-Sultanieh in rural Homs .
