Terrorists kill at least 5 and wound 10 in Hama, Sweida

HAMA, SWEIDA, (ST)_ At least 5 civilians were martyred and 10 others were wounded in two separate terrorist acts in Hama and Sweida provinces.

According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), two girls were martyred and 3 civilians were wounded today in a terror rocket attack carried out by al-Nusra Front against al-Rasef and Azezeyeh towns in the northwestern countryside of Hama.

The Syrian army units responded to the terror attack by shelling al-Nusra Front’s rocket launchers in Hama countryside. They, in addition, destroyed fortifications of terrorist groups affiliated to al-Nusra Front and the ‘Turkistan Party’ in the southern countryside of Idlib.   

Later on, it was reported that a terror blast took place in Sweida city, killing at least 3 civilians and wounding 7 others.

“A motorbike packed with explosives was detonated by remote control in the crowded al-Qanawat street in the city of Sweida, killing at least 3 civilians and wounding 7 others,” according to SANA.

The casualties were conveyed to the Sweida National Hospital.
