Terrorists Infiltration Attempt from Jordan Foiled

GOVERNORATES,(ST)_ The armed forces on Sunday pursued  armed terrorist groups in several areas,  destroyed their   gatherings  and shelters and killed or wounded scores of them.

In Damascus countryside,  several  sniper terrorists  were eliminated, including  Mahmoud Bilal, Ahmad Qabalan, Quteiba al-Daqr, Ali al-Ameer and Firas Fattash , Muhannad Darqish, Younis Naji, Muhammad Abd Rabbo, Ammar al-Aghawani, Hassan al-Lawah, Taha Andora, Ahmad al-Bakka  , Abdul Hadi al-Doukhi, Marwan al-Refai and Sadeq al-Ahmad in confrontations in Daraya and Duma farms.

In Idleb countryside ,  all members of one terrorist group were  left killed or injured and four homemade rocket launchers used in the terrorist  attacks and  criminal operations against civilians  in Maaret Misreen farms , were destroyed, an official source  said

The source added that large number of  Baba Amre  and al-Farouk terrorists battalions were killed or wounded and their cars fitted with heavy machine guns were destroyed  in Wadi al-Deif in Maaret al-Nu’man.

In rural Homs  several terrorists who were committing acts of murder and sabotage in Zafarana and Jobar farms and  to the South of Kafraya in rural Homs were eliminated  while several terrorist shelters were destroyed  near al-Kon mountain  in al-Rastan city.

Meantime, the armed forces and border guards achieved  direct hits in the ranks of armed terrorist group which tried to sneak from Jordan into the Syria territory at al-Mataeya village in rural Daraa and confiscated their Israeli-made weapons and modern communication devices.

In Bosr al-Hariri, the armed forces  killed or wounded several members of terrorist groups which carried out  acts of intimidation, vandalism and assault on the property.

Among the killed  were Ahmad Ali Omar leader of the so called ” Lajat  Shield” terrorist group  Ahmad Ali Omar, Mousa Mahmoud al-Aleyan and Yahya and Khaled al-Hariri.

In Hama countryside , the army engineering units dismantled 100 explosives and 50 shell bomb implanted by terrorists in the surrounding of Morek town., and killed , wounded or arrested scores of  the devastated terrorists

In Aleppo  city and countryside, the  armed forces continued military operations against the armed terrorist groups in al-Sfeiara, Khan Touman,, Mang, Rasm al-Abboud , al-Oweijeh, al-Sukkari and Bustan al-Bacha , where   a vehicle fitted with Dushka machine gun  was destroyed  and 25 explosives of different weights were dismantled.

In the context of targeting national cadres, the  armed terrorists on Sunday assassinated  the director of al-Raqqa al-Awqaf department Abdullah Saleh in front of his house in  al- Derya area ,near  al-Noor mosque in al-Raqqa .

Earlier, the Ministry of al-Awqaf ( Islamic Endowment) considered armed terrorist groups targeting  scholars  and al-Awqaf departments directors as a proof  to that the war Syria is facing is but a war by terrorist and Takfiri  organizations, ,led by al-Qaeda organization against moderation  pursued by the Syrian Islamic orientation.

“The martyrdom of Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Director  of al-Raqqa endowments for the sake of pride and dignity,  will not undermine the will of our great people  to continue the way to achieving victory over the forces of evil , darkness and terror.” A statement by the ministry said on Sunday.

The  armed terrorist group assassinated on Sunday the director of al-Raqqa endowments Abdullah Saleh as he left his house in Dre’eya area near Al Noor Mosque in the city.

The late  martyr  was born in al-Qalta village in  Raqqa , in 1962 . He got  a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Aleppo and a bachelor’s degree in al-Sharia  science from the University of Al-Azhar and  was  appointed Director of Endowments in al-Raqqa,  since 2009.
