Terrorists in Daraa Al-Balad fire mortar shells on residential neighborhoods in Daraa, the army retaliates

Terrorist groups holed up in Daraa Al-Balad neighborhood and Al-Sad Road area continue to attack  the residential neighborhoods in Daraa city as well as the Syrian Army’s checkpoints in the vicinity of Daraa Al-Balad with mortar shells, provoking the army to retaliate by targeting the source of fire.

A filed source told SANA that the terrorist groups in this area continuously attack residential areas and army checkpoints. They keep opposing peaceful solutions proposed by the army and refuse to implement the reached agreement in an attempt to torpedo all the efforts exerted to avoid military action in the city of Daraa.

On Thursday, a batch of terrorists, who reject settlement, left Daraa Al-Balad neighborhood along with their families to the north of Syria.
