Terrorists in Daraa Al-Balad area fire mortar shells on residential neighborhoods in Daraa city

The remnants of terrorist groups deployed in Daraa Al-Balad area shelled residential neighborhoods in the city of Daraa, causing damage to several houses.

Last night, terrorist groups fired 14 mortar shells on Al-Kashef neighborhood, the industrial City, the fire brigade headquarters and Garz area, causing damage to the houses and infrastructure, Chief the Daraa Police Command, Brigadier General Dirar Al-Dandal, told SANA reporter on Tuesday. 

The terrorist groups also opened their machine gun fire at the Syrian Arab Army’s checkpoints near Hamida Al-Taher Park and Al-Manshiya area on the outskirts of Daraa Al-Balad area, added Al-Dandal, pointing out that fortunately, no casualties were reported,

He made it clear that the army units deployed in these areas retaliated by targeting the sites from where the attacks were launched.
