Terrorists fire 20 mortars plus 4 missiles on Damascus and Homs, detonate explosive devices in Damascus suburbs

PROVINCES, (ST)_Terror attacks have killed 4 civilians and wounded over 45 others in Damascus and its suburbs and Homs, media sources reported Monday.

The sources clarified that terrorists fired some 20 mortar rounds on Bab Tuma, Bab Sharqi, al-Qassa’a, Rekneddin and al-Tadamon quarters in the capital [Damascus], killing 2 civilians and wounding 30 others.

The mortar attacks caused damages to several cars, shops and houses in the sites.

More shops and cars were damaged when 4 mortar rounds-fired by terrorists- hit Daheyet Harasta area and the ‘Jannet al-Mada’en’ Hotel and near the ‘al-Kattani’ mosque in al-Sayyedeh Zainab town in Damascus countryside. No one was hurt there.

In the same province [Damascus countryside], terrorists detonated two explosive devices attached to cars in Kesweh and Madaya towns, wounding 4 civilians including 2 children.

While in Homs city, terrorist launched 4 missiles on quarters of Ekremah and Wadi al-Zahab, killing 2 civilians and wounding 10 others.

Several children were among the civilians wounded in the missile attack, according to a source at Homs province.

The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel support terrorist groups operating in Syria.
