Terrorists explode car bomb in Homs, fire shells on Damascus countryside

PROVINCES,(ST)_Terrorist organizations exploded a car bomb in Homs city and fired 2 mortar shells on al-Wafideen camp in Damascus countryside, killing at least 2 persons and wounding over 15 others on Tuesday.

According to a police command source in Homs city, terrorists exploded today at noon a car bomb in the ‘al-Settin’ Street in al-Zahraa quarter, killing at least one person and wounding 12 others.

Two days ago, terrorists detonated an explosive device in a car near al-Mowasalat square in the same quarter, killing the driver.

The terror acts in Homs province come within desperate attempts to damage reconciliation process in the province, the official news agency (SANA) said.

The agency added that the ‘Jaish al-Islam’ terrorists fired 2 mortar shells on al-Wafideen camp in Damascus countryside, killing one person and wounding 3 others.

A child was among the wounded persons who were admitted to al-Qtayfeh hospital in Damascus countryside, a medical source confirmed.

Thousands of families, who have been displaced by the Israeli occupation entity from the occupied Golan since 1967, leave in the al-Wafideen camp.
