Terrorists detonate 2 explosive devices in Homs, fire shell on Damascus countryside

PROVINCES,(ST)_Foreign-backed terrorist organizations detonated two explosive devices in Homs city and fired a mortar shell on Daheyet Harasta suburb in Damascus countryside, killing at least one person and wounding over 12 others on Friday.

A source in Homs province told the official news agency (SANA) that terrorists detonated two explosive devices in Wadi al-Zahab quarter in the city of Homs, killing one person and wounding 12 others.

“The terror attack caused damage to several cars and homes at the scene,” the source added.

Two days ago, terrorist exploded Kia Rio car bomb near the square of al-Zahraa quarter in the same city, wounding at least 8 persons.

Another terror attack took place today in Damascus countryside as a mortar shell hit Daheyet Harasta suburb at the northern entrance to Damascus, leaving damages without casualties, according to a police command source.

The source confirmed that the life in the said suburb is normal.

On the other hand, local sources denied media reports claimed that terrorists had targeted  a military bus in Harasta suburb.

“Such reports aim at buoying up the spirit of Jaish al-Islam terrorists who were inflicted heavy losses on Wednesday when Syrian army units regained control over Abo Zied hill and surrounding hills overlooking Damascus-Homs highway in Harasta suburb, sources said.

6 persons wounded in Damascus 

In the capital [Damascus], terrorist organizations fired 3 mortar shells on al-Tijara, al-Qosor and al-Qemareyeh quarters, wounding at least 6 persons, including 2 women.

The terror attack also caused damage to a home and 4 cars, according to a police command source in the province of Damascus 

The US, France, Britain, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Israel support terrorist organizations, which includes the ‘armed moderate opposition’ , in Syria, according to world media reports.
