Terrorists Blow up Two Explosive Devices in al-Zahera al-Jadida in Damascus

 

GOVERNNORATES, (ST)- Terrorists on Friday blew up two explosive devices near a

park in Al-Zahera al-Jadida area of Damascus.  A number of citizens were injured.

A source told SANA that the first remotely detonated explosive device was planted in a “Sham” car parked behind the clinics building. Another explosive device was also detonated at the same place after some passersby and ambulances had arrived at the explosion site.

The source added a number of citizens, including a nurse and an ambulance driver, were injured.

Sixteen wounded people arrived at the hospital for treatment, a Damascus Hospital source reported   

In Aleppo, an official source told SANA reporter that the Syrian Arab Army units have completely cleared Khan al-Assal area of Aleppo from mercenary terrorists.

In Daraa countryside, army forces clashed with an armed terrorist group who tried to attack an order-keeping checkpoint in al-Harra town, killing all the group’s members.

A source told SANA that an army unit killed terrorist Omar Mohammad al-Samra while trying to attack order-keeping personnel in Ghabagheb town. A number of armed group’s members, who were attacking and sabotaging the state and citizens’ properties, were also killed in clashes with the Syrian army in Ghabagheb town and al-Ghareya al-Gharbeya village.

Two terrorists were arrested and their weapons and ammunitions were confiscated, according to the source.

Terrorists also shoot their machinegun fire on a Jordanian car driving a long Naseeb-Damascus Highway. Two peoples inside the car were injured, the source said.

On the other hand and within the framework of targeting educational institutions, an armed terrorist group burned a secondary school in Saida area of Daraa Countryside, causing serious damages. 

In Hama, authorities seized a car carrying a huge amount of weapons and ammunition in al-Sharei’a neighborhood. Seized weapons included sniper rifles, grenades, machineguns and detonators. A communication device, medical materials and Captagon bills were also seized from the foreign-backed terrorists.

In Homs ,a Syrian army unit clashed with a terrorist group attacking people in Bab al-Turkman neighborhood. A number of terrorists were killed and the cars they were driving were destroyed.
Several terrorists, attacking citizens’ properties, were also killed and others injured in clashes with army forces in al-Houla area of Homs countryside.

A Homs governorate’s source told SANA the armed terrorist groups have foiled efforts by the government and the Syrian Arab Crescent Society to deliver humanitarian assistance to  victims of terrorist crimes in al-Khalideya and al-Hamideya neighborhoods.

In Deir Ezzour, the army forces clashed with armed terrorist groups in al-Jabiliya, al-Mowazafeen and al-Halabiya neighborhoods. Clashes resulted in the killing and wounding of many terrorists including Nizar Awad Mahmoud al-Ali and Mohammad Zeyad al-Rahmo.

In Idleb, a governorate’s source said that Syrian armed forces chased terrorists in Maaret al-Nou’man countryside, killing a number of them and destroying their machinegun-equipped cars.

The source added that army engineering units dismantled 30 explosive devices during their chase of armed terrorist groups in some Maaret al-Nou’man rural areas.

Meanwhile, the Governor of Idleb Yaser al-Shoufi denied the terrorists’ control of the archeological citadel of Harem.

In a statement to SANA , Shoufi asserted that these false news come within the framework of the channels’ fabrications to raise the collapsed morals of the terrorists.

He pointed out that the locals’ cooperation with the army forces has repelled terrorists’ attempts to break into the citadel of Harem and led to the killing and wounding of many terrorists.

In Tartous, authorities confiscated a “Volvo” truck carrying a huge amount of detonators, antiquities and gold pieces in the al-Hamideya area.
