Terrorists attack corridor for evacuating civilians from Ghouta, continue holding civilians hostage

Damascus Countryside – Terrorist organizations on Sunday targeted with a shell and explosive rounds the safe corridor set up for the evacuation of civilians besieged by terrorists in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside, SANA said.

SANA said that this attack took place one hour after the beginning of the daily truce for evacuating civilians, which takes place from 9 am till 2 pm.

With this, Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and other affiliated armed groups are continuing to prevent civilians from leaving Ghouta through the safe corridor near al-Wafedeen Camp  for the 13th day in a row.

SANA said that ambulances and the public transportation buses have been waiting since in 9 am to transport civilians who are willing to exit from Ghouta to the makeshift residential center in al-Dwair.
